1988: School Daze
School Daze is a 1988 musical-drama film, written and directed by Spike Lee, and starring Laurence Fishburne, Giancarlo Esposito, and Tisha Campbell-Martin. Based in part on Spike Lee's experiences at Atlanta's Morehouse College, it is a story about fraternity and sorority members clashing with other students at a historically black college during homecoming weekend. School Daze was the second feature film directed by Spike Lee, and was released on February 12, 1988 by Columbia Pictures.

The TRUE SCHOOL CORPORATION, LLC was founded March 25, 2006 by 7 young men.

Its founders are: Dr. Martin Vincent Clark, DDS; Jossan Robinson, p/k/a The Son of Job; Robert Carter, p/k/a DJ Cuzzin B; Dr. Reginald Baker, DDS; Rodney Waters; Chris Robinson, p/k/a Cesar Comanche; and Patrick Douthit, p/k/a 9th Wonder. These 7 young felt the need to create a much needed space for their age group in the media marketplace, by celebrating 15 years of music, culture, and film (1980-1995). Thus, TRUE SCHOOL CORPORATION was born.
